In case anyone was still curious, Eric and Travis informed me when I asked that the torso in the picture above belongs to Mariah Carey. I don't like her all that much, but you have to admit that an eight-octave range does not necessarily say "Talentless" to me. Of course, you could surmise that good looks got her to the point where she could get really expensive voice coaching... Which could have gotten a 96-note range out of Roseanne.
